Connecting the mind, body, and spirit through movement is a powerful way to gain a deeper understanding of yourself. By moving your body, you create a space for internal awareness, which can help you release any mental, emotional, or spiritual tension. Mind Body Stretch-Yin Yoga

Are you looking for a way to enhance your flexibility and reduce stress?

Try the Mind Body Stretch Class/Yin Yoga.

This type of yoga is designed to help you passively reduce stress and improve your flexibility. With Yin Yoga, you'll hold poses for an extended period of time, ranging from 45 seconds for beginners to 2-5 minutes or more for advanced practitioners. This practice applies moderate stress to your connective tissues and increases joint circulation. Bolsters are used to provide support in postures, and the class includes meditation to help you connect your mind and body.

If you're ready to add slow intentional stretching to your wellness plan  One on one classes are currently available.  Contact me to set that up.

I also teach Yin Yoga on Thursday evenings from 6-7p at Yoga United at Brighton AKA Holistic Center for Health and Wellbeing off Fruitville Pike near Bent Creek.  http://yogaunitedatbrighton.com/

Mediation Through Movement

Walking is a great way to improve your overall wellbeing, including your physical, mental, and emotional health. That's why we often hear the phrase "walk it off" when someone is feeling stressed or overwhelmed. At Recalibrate, we've taken this concept one step further by combining the benefits of walking with meditation, affirmative speech, Qigong, Tai Chi and dance.   Our unique approach focuses on the mind-body connection and encourages participants to be present by paying  attention to their physical sensations, movements, and experiences in order to tap into the natural healer within.  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
